At The Wilton Animal Hospital, we take pride in providing your pet's prescription needs. However, we cannot stock every drug. In the event that we do not carry a particular drug that your pet may need, we will happily fill your pet's prescription at any one of our local pharmacies.
Federal drug laws prohibit the doctors from dispensing any medication to animals who have not had an examination. If your pet will require medication, call to schedule an appointment. If you are requesting a refill on a prescription, please give us 24 hours notice. A new examination may be needed and a doctor must approve all prescription refills. Calling first allows us time to prepare your request and saves you from having to wait or wasting a trip. |
