IDENTIFICATION FOR YOUR PET

DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU

Every year, thousands of cats and dogs across our country are lost or stolen. Many shelters in our area are forced to euthanize animals due to overcrowding or simply because their owners could not be found. These pets may have been saved if they had a permanent, traceable form of identification to show who they belonged to.

YOU CAN HELP PROTECT YOUR PET WITH A MICROCHIP

Wilton Animal Hospital offers this form of permanent identification.

We use Avid microchips. The registration can be submitted to a national recovery system for locating lost pets..

Although we can not guarantee that microchipping will ensure your pets safe return, it will better your odds of finding your pet in the event that they become separated from you. Permanent identification is a way back home.
